ABOUT US

The Anatomy Museum is located in the Anatomy Building at the east end of Trinity College.  The museum is current closed to the public but, regular requests for access to the collections by researchers and scholars are facilitated.

The collections held at the Anatomy Museum include human remains from the Pathological collection and Human Anatomical Preparations, mostly dating from the 18th and 19th century and are displayed across the ground floor and gallery. Some have specific provenance histories while others are less well known and are indicative of a historical method of research. Also held are paintings, drawings and sculptures in the Dissecting Room and Lecture Theatre.
